Terms & Conditions

Effective June 1st, 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all services provided by The Brand Signature (“we,” “us,” or “the studio”) to you, the client (“you” or “the client”), unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Project Scope & Additional Work

Work will be completed based on the agreed scope outlined in the proposal or agreement. Any work requested outside of the original scope (e.g., additional revisions, new deliverables, urgent requests) will be quoted separately. Scope changes may impact project timeline and delivery dates.

Turnaround Time & Client Responsibilities

Timelines will be outlined at the beginning of the project. Timely communication, approvals, and content are required to keep projects on schedule. Delays in feedback may result in project rescheduling or rush fees if deadlines must still be met.

Revisions

Most projects include 3 rounds of revisions, unless otherwise stated. Revisions must be submitted within the project timeline. Delays may result in rescheduling. Additional revisions beyond those included will be billed separately at USD$45.00 for 3 more rounds of revision.

Booking & Payments

Payment for smaller short-term projects are to be made in full. Additionally, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for larger, long-term projects. For larger or long-term projects, the remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project and before final files or printed materials are released. Invoices are payable within 7–14 days of issue. Late payments may incur a 10% late fee after the due date.All pricing is in USD unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable. If a project is canceled after work has begun, the client will be invoiced for work completed to date. If we are unable to complete the project due to illness, emergency, or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund or credit for future services.

File Delivery & Formats

Final design files are delivered upon full payment. File types include PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG, EPS (as applicable). Clients are responsible for backing up all final files after delivery. We archive completed projects for 6 months.

Print Services

We offer in-house printing for most standard brand collateral (e.g., brochures, business cards, invitations). Packaging and stationery printing are not available for design or print services. Proofs must be approved in writing before printing begins. Once approved, changes cannot be made, and reprint costs will be the client’s responsibility.

Ownership & Usage Rights

All rights to the final, approved designs transfer to the client upon full payment. We retain rights to:

  • Share the completed work in our portfolio, website, and promotional materials
  • Retain and protect unused drafts, concepts, or working files.

You may not resell, edit, or redistribute our work without written permission unless otherwise agreed.

Confidentiality

All proprietary or sensitive information shared with us will be kept confidential. We’re happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request.

 Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any indirect damages, lost profits, or third-party claims resulting from the use of designs or print materials. Final proofreading and content accuracy are the client’s responsibility before approval.

Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice but will not affect any projects already in progress. Clients will be notified of any major updates in writing.
